BEAUTY LIES IN THE 'EYE' OF THE BEHOLDER!

Hey peeps,

It's time for me to update the blog once in awhile due to my 'super' hectic schedule. Well, tis time I'm sharing with you guys about 'glasses' a.k.a spectacles. Well, glasses are not necessarily only for those with vision problems. Nowadays, spectacles are also part of fashion - giving you different looks!

I've discovered this little outlet called the EYE PROFILE at Queensway Shopping Centre. It has the quirkiest and fashion-statement making pieces that are sure to grab anyone's attention. Their glasses come from all over the world - just like the ones shown below:

This white plastic frame comes from Hong Kong. It's super lightweight and I've chosen this because of the contour of the frame (slightly curved upwards) which gives the nerdy look an edgy twist.

This spectacle is made in Italy and you could tell from all that details which looks somewhat like carvings on wood or cut-outs from paper.

This Japan-made frame is definitely a traffic-stopper. It definitely grabs all the attention needed with its lime-green colour and quirky frame that somehow makes the lens look like its not fixed onto the frame.

There are LOTS of frames up for grab at EYE PROFILE. These are just some that I've bought. One of my friends (Irene) have gotten a Korean-made floral plastic frame. That the moment she wore it, she was so attached to it, as it was so comfortable and light.

Collagen - The 'IN' Drink

It has been quite some time since the blog is updated. But this time I'm sharing with you not on the style part but on the 'beauty' department.

Well, I'm not generalizing but I do think all girls are 'vain' somehow. Who wouldn't wanna look forever youthful with flawless (baby-smooth) skin, right? And what more, studies show that our collagen starts to breakdown at the age of 25, someone once mentioned to me that due to the hot climate in Singapore and Malaysia (it actually deteriorates much earlier at 22). Do I hear you exclaiming "oh gosh...wat am I to do?". I'm sure most of you have heard of Collagen Drink. So, what happens when your skin's collagen breakdown? These are what we call 'signs of aging'

1. Sagging skin

2. Lack of lustre/radiance - starts to have pigmentation

3. Enlarged pores (which is somehow related to sagging skin)

4. Wrinkles and fine lines

5. Affects skin texture - roughness

But just to give you a more in-depth knowledge of it, I've decided to come up with this post. In order for you to absorb the collagen, it has to be in low molecular weight (short molecules). In addition, our daily collagen absorption is only 5,000mg max. Hence, don't be fooled by products with tens of thousand mg of collagen. Those are considered gimmics because somehow or rather those thousands of mg are gonna be wasted!

And hence, I've gotten myself 3 boxes of this. The first box (10 bottles) is to be consumed daily -preferably at night before bed and subsequently you can opt to consume a bottle every 2-3 days.

The great thing about this Lennox Firm Up is that it consists of:

1. Aqueous Marine Collagen 5,000mg - low molecular weight and 100% water soluble

2. Coenzyme Q10 - this is beneficial because of its ability to transfer electrons and act as antioxidant (energizes skin cell)

3. Vitamin C - accelerates collagen synthesis

4. Vitamin E - acts as antioxidant
